After abandoning Pioneer Hut, we ended up for a couple of days in Motueka near Nelson (very hippy). On the last day caught a ferry from Marahau up to Onetahuti and stomped our way back along the coast track. This is normally done over two days. The beer was oh so cold.

Birthday bash weekend, we sneeked away for a dirty weekend in the peak. We didn't get as the mud bath that is normally Kinder Scout as it was frozen solid! It's much prettier like that... and a lot less work.

Day trip to the Pic St-Loup just outside of Montpellier. Hot day not made any easier for Theresa being heavy with child. After we found cafe in St Martin de Londres and tried to get a view of the mountain from the north but thunder storms beat us to it.
